David Stone, M.B.A - Professional Networking Website

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit.  This website is designed as an online platform for me to extend an introduction of myself to individuals within my professional network.

Frequent changes are taking place on this site to make it more professional, user friendly, and interactive.  Please check in periodically for updates and, most importantly, click the 'Contact Me' icon on the left of each page of this website to reach me directly.  I sincerely look forward to hearing from you and welcome any and all feedback.

One of my latest ventures is pursuing virtual/remote freelance work in finance, business advisory services, and consulting. Elance is a leading company in this area, and below is a link to my profile. Whether you are looking for such work - or looking for someone like myself to help with your project or task - you might want to check this out.

The picture below is an ariel view of my alma mater, Union College in Schenectady, NY.  Union College is a private liberal arts college that was founded in 1795.

The four years I spent at Union College in 2002-2006 as an economics undergraduate student was highly rewarding, challenging, and truly shaped who I am today.  Please see the video below, which showcases some of the best my college has to offer:

In the fall of 2004, I was the first student from Union College in nearly 30 years to study at the London School of Economics (LSE).  As a General Course student in the Accounting & Finance department, I participated in a rigorous exchange program and met lifelong friends from across the globe.  LSE was founded in 1895 and staffed over 20 Nobel Prize winners as notable faculty, as well as heads of states among the alumni network and on-site participating in the university's lecture circuit.

For those who share my passion toward finance, here is a test from the website Smarterer. See how you do - join the Smarterer website, if you would like. Currently, I act as "Professor of Corporate Finance" on the site, supporting efforts related to test development. Enjoy!
